"Hi,
We were playing at the Antoinette Mccawley wedding over the May Bank Holiday weekend and your staff made such a good impression on us that we felt we should send you a quick email to tell you of our experience. We met two of the friendliest workers, I may have the names wrong but I think they were Linda who worked in the bar and served us our food while we waited to get into the ballroom and the other girl was Emelda I think, who was responsible for clearing the toptable off the stage and clearing the dance floor. We play in a lot of venues around the country and very often find that the staff are either too busy or uninterested to help the band before/as they set up. As it was our first time at your hotel and as we did not know the running of things there, their efforts to help us did not go unnoticed. Please pass on our praises to these two ladies and we look forward to meeting them some time again in the future at Castle Dargan."

"Our Wedding day on the 31st August 2012 was such a special, intimate day., The venue is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Sligo countryside with the dramatic backdrop of a perfectly manicured championship golf course. Ann + I met playing golf and we had been looking at various locations, Castle Dargan could provide the perfect setting and we could also get married in the most romantic Coach House room with its high ceiling and perfect lighting. Such a relaxing , beautiful resort.      We were most at ease upon our first meeting with Kim in Castle Dargan, and knew that we were dealing with a polite , enthusiastic young professional. Everything we requested , was catered for without question, even the odd ones like getting the groom +friends out for a round of golf the morning of the wedding+buggies for the location shots! There were also added extras given to us which made those little touches speak volumes. The hotel looked fabulous and Kim is a great asset to a great venue."

As for the day itself, it completely lived up to our expectations. The drinks reception, the food, and the service all ran perfectly and castle dargan house is such a beautiful bridal suite.
