Individual Membership (Redeemable Preference Share)
An attractive membership structure involving the ownership of redeemable preference shares in Castle Dargan Golf Club has been put in place. A total of only 500 memberships will be released over a phased basis. The price of preference shares will vary over time with the price of future releases to be confirmed at the time of issue. The owner of a redeemable preference share in Castle Dargan Golf Club plc is entitled (subject to rules of Castle Dargan Golf Club and the memorandum and articles of association of Castle Dargan Golf Club plc) to:
Membership Conditions & Benefits:
- Nominate a person for membership of Castle Dargan Golf Club which provides use of the golf course and club facilities.
- Nominate their children (up to 18 years) to become junior members of the Club.
- Transfer the ownership of the redeemable preference share to another person (subject to approval)
- The share can be transferred in a will as part of an estate.
- Redeem the share for 5% above it’s fully paid up value.
- Invite up to 20 guests per year to play Castle Dargan at a reduced members’ guest green fee rate(Members must play with these guests to avail of this rate).
- Participate in club competitions & events.
- Affiliation to the GUI or ILGU for official handicap.
- Nominate two people as members of the Icon Spa at Castle Dargan valued at €350 each
- Includes 4 complimentary tickets for each day of any professional event hosted by Castle Dargan.
- Enjoy preferential rates on retail purchases in the Castle Dargan golf shop.
- Receive a club bag tag and membership card.
