Captains Welcome

I am delighted to be chosen as Captain of Castle Dargan Golf Club again for 2008. Last year was not alone a historic one but also very successful year for the club. On September 24th last year we had the two leading lights in Irish Golf, Darren Clarke and Rory Mc Ilroy play a cracking match at the offical opening if the Golf Club.

I look forward to our teams taking part in Inter Club Competitions as we will have a much improved panel of golfers.

Many sincere thanks to our very generous sponsors who again have supported us this year.

Finally I would like to extend a "Cead Mile Failte" to all our visitors, and good wishes and health to all our members.

First and foremost I would like to acknowledge the great houour and privilege it is for me to be selected as the first Lady Captain of Castle Dargan 2008.

I look forward to representing the Lady Golfers of this magnificent Club and working with all to make this an outstanding year.

I hope to ensure that all new and existing members enjoy the experience of golfing at Castle Dargan.
